Job summary

CFH Controls is seeking an experienced Controls Account Manager to grow our customer base across the Pacific Northwest. You will develop new opportunities, nurture long-term relationships with building owners, and present CFH Controls services with measurable value.

Expect field travel and site visits as part of a customer-facing role. The ideal candidate has HVAC/BAS sales experience, at least one year in field sales, and strong knowledge of the construction industry with financial acumen for

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Controls Account Manager, you will play a key role in growing our business and supporting our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Develop new customer relationships and sales opportunities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with building owners and customers
• Present and promote CFH Controls services while demonstrating value to prospective customers
• Qualify and close new sales opportunities
• Develop and provide controls service agreements
• Develop scopes of work that meet customer project requirements
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date information on sales opportunities
• Visit customer locations and job sites as needed

This is a customer-facing position with field travel. Job-site visits may include existing buildings, construction sites, outdoor locations, and areas around mechanical equipment. Work environments may involve moving equipment, weather conditions, ladders, heights, and other variable conditions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year of successful field sales experience
• Minimum 1 year of successful HVAC or Building Automation Systems sales experience
• Knowledge of HVAC and/or the construction industry
• Financial knowledge related to project costing, including maintaining accurate profit and loss information
• Valid driver's license with no major or frequent traffic violations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to self-motivate, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
• Strong commitment to integrity and quality
• Positive, professional, and customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in commercial facilities, HVAC systems, or Building Automation Systems
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• Proven, target-driven sales performance
• ASHRAE association
• Engineering credentials such as CEM, LEED GA/AP, PE, or FE
