Trust & Will is a remote-first digital estate planning platform serving over one million users. We seek an experienced Controller to own accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and guide financial strategy with the CFO.

This role emphasizes AI/automation to optimize processes and ensure audit-ready reporting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial reporting, control implementation, and a track record of leading month-end close in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is preferred and CPA on track is acceptable.
• Proven ability to implement strong financial reporting controls.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/automation to accounting workflows.
• Experience with month-end close and tax compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing, tax compliance, and AP/AR while owning accounting operations.
• Design and implement internal controls, lead audits, and ensure compliance.
• Optimize accounting tech stack and partner with CFO on financial strategy.
