GEMRT, a growing public accounting firm based in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Controller to oversee the firm's administrative and financial operations and to be actively involved in all management functions.

This leadership role reports to the managing partners, leads accounting, HR, IT, marketing and office services, and has a clear path to CFO/COO. You will drive budgeting, financial reporting, vendor management and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Master's in Business Administration or CPA license preferred.
• Proven experience as controller, firm administrator or operations manager for a CPA firm or similar role.
• Understanding the needs of HR, IT, marketing, accounting and office services.
• Ability to prioritize, plan and implement strategic initiatives and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions and systems for the firm.
• Supervise administrative staff and facilities management.
• Develop annual budgets and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with partners on strategic planning and risk management.
