Advanced Exercise, based in Littleton, CO, seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function, strengthen internal controls, and ensure financial clarity and compliance as we expand.

The role manages day-to-day accounting operations, including close, GL, AP/AR, payroll, and cash. It partners with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant) in high volume B2B firms.
• Experience with multiple organizations and consolidation of financials.
• Proven track record in high volume, fast paced environments.
• Strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Oversee financial reporting, tax filings, audits, GAAP compliance, and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership for budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strengthen accounting systems, automation, and workflows for efficiency.
• Ensure timely financial statements and actionable reporting for leadership.
