Job summary

National Fleet Management is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting organization and partner with the CFO to build a scalable finance function. You will own month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and controls across multiple sites, with a focus on automation and accuracy. A CPA and multi-location experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with inventory accounting and ERP or dealer management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, audits, and compliance.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting functions.
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Improve billing accuracy and strengthen financial reporting processes.
• Monitor purchase order compliance and vendor management.
• Strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting procedures.
