Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious multilocation law firm in Dallas, TX to identify an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and one day remote, with a base salary range of $180,000–$225,000 plus bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

The Controller will oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, payroll, tax filings, and internal controls across locations, while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience in a multilocation law firm.
• 2+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial reporting packages, management reports and analysis.
• Lead monthly variance analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow across multiple offices.
• Oversee payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support shareholder agreements and compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate annual tax preparation with external partners.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise on strategies.
• Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with credit agreements.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and financial compliance.
