Qualifications

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leadinghealthcare organization in Hamilton, TX and we are seeking an experiencedController for their Business Office.

In this role, you will manage the accountingdepartment and provide accurate financial information and analysis to supportinformed decision-making by leadership, the Board, and other key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financialreports, monthly statements, annual audits, and budgets
  • Oversee disbursement operations ensuring accurate and timely processing ofaccounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, expense reports, payrollprocessing, cash controls, and payroll tax compliance
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls to ensure data integrity, processaccuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Provide the CFO with accurate, timely financial information and support asrequested
  • Lead special projects and compile a variety of special reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintainconfidentiality while handling sensitive financial information
  • Buildpositive relationships with hospital staff, customers, and the public
  • Handleexternal customer communications as needed
  • Recommendaccounting process improvements, policies, and procedures to the CFO

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+years of accounting management experience in a hospital or healthcaresetting
