Job summary

The Staff Pad in Hamilton, United States seeks an experienced Controller to lead the hospital finance function. You will manage the accounting department and provide accurate financial information to leadership, the Board, and stakeholders to guide decision-making.

Responsibilities include overseeing payroll, payables, audits, budgets, and internal controls, while driving enhancements and ensuring Medicare/Medicaid compliance. A collaborative finance leader is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting management experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting department and ensure timely financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll, budgets, and audits.
• Maintain data integrity, controls, and efficiency.
• Provide CFO with timely financial information and analysis.
• Lead special reporting projects and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
