Job summary

Jobot is hiring a permanent Controller for 100% on-site work in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on auditing, cost accounting, and general ledger management with strong Excel skills. Direct Hire with Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule.

Qualified candidates hold a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, and have ERP experience (QuickBooks), daily reconciliations, journal entries, GAAP reporting, and strong balance sheet capabilities. Jobot promotes equal opportunity employment.

• ERP experience with QuickBooks or similar; knowledge of general ledger processes.
• Daily reconciliations and journal entries.
• GAAP reporting and balance sheet management.
• AP/AR andInventory control basics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct auditing and cost accounting across the organization.
• Manage general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Prepare WIP schedules and reconcile accounts.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and metrics.
• Collaborate with operations on budgeting and forecasting aspects.

This role will involve working across the industry, utilizing your skills in auditing, cost accounting, general ledger management, and Microsoft Excel.

Premium skills: consilidation, intercompany, multiple general ledger, work in progress.
