Job summary

Cape is seeking a Controller to scale its finance operations as it grows rapidly. You will design GAAP-compliant processes, lead ERP and quote-to-cash, and prepare the company for its first PCAOB audit while overseeing AR, AP, payroll, and tax.

This role reports to the Head of Internal Operations and requires a builder mindset and collaboration across partners and vendors. Ideal candidates have CPA certification, 6+ years in accounting, Big 4 experience, and a track record of improving close

Qualifications

• CPA certification with ASC 606 revenue knowledge.
• 6+ years accounting in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Experience leading end-to-end audits and strong close processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GAAP-compliant accounting practices.
• Lead ERP implementation and manage the quote-to-cash process.
• Prepare for PCAOB audit and ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll, tax, and state compliance.
• Build and mentor an accounting team.
