Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, our rapidly growing, private equity-backed, managed services company is currently hiring a Controller. The Controller leads the accounting operation, internal controls, and processes, as well as the development of accounting systems across the company, to meet internal and external financial reporting requirements and audit standards, ensuring that all accounting activities are in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller ensures that accurate information is provided to senior management and shareholders, enabling them to make informed economic decisions about the company's future.

The work you'll be doing:

• Overseeing Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: This includes functions such as billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and revenue recognition.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide leadership with a clear view of financial health.
• Compliance and Control: Ensuring that financial operations comply with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Cash Flow Management: Overseeing cash flow, debt, and collections to maintain financial stability.
• Audit Coordination: Acting as the primary contact for external auditors and managing the audit process.
• Systems & Controls: Establishing and maintaining systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, and enhances the company’s value. Drive system and process improvements where needed, including evaluating current ERP capabilities and next-generation implementation.
• Payroll: Oversee and manage payroll processing and corporate payroll tax compliance.
• Budgeting and Financial Forecasting: Developing budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning and reporting any significant variances.
• Team Leadership: Hire, onboard and train finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Partner with CFO: Provide business insights to the Dynamic Campus executive team and our investors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• MBA or master’s in finance/accounting (preferred)
• M&A, private equity and ERP implementation expertise (preferred)
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experience in month-end/year-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Background in audit or public accounting.
• Experience implementing an ERP system - Familiar with Quickbooks and Netsuite is a plus!
