Metrics Recruitment is hiring a Financial Controller for a high-performing crypto proprietary trading firm. Operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and digital assets, our client runs sophisticated trading strategies on leading centralized exchanges with a lean, data-driven team. As they scale, they’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead core accounting functions and drive financial rigor across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle accounting: month-end close, journal entries, and reporting
• Prepare internal financial statements and leadership reporting packs
• Manage external tax and audit partners for compliance and audit readiness
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor onboarding, and fiat/crypto treasury operations
• Administer global payroll and liaise with third-party providers
• Maintain financial policies, internal controls, and audit trails
• Partner with the CFO on financial modeling, forecasting, and insights

What We’re Looking For:

• 6–10+ years in accounting/controllership, ideally in crypto, trading, or fintech
• Strong communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Skilled in both traditional finance (AP, payroll, wires) and crypto workflows (wallets, custody, transactions)
• Proficient in accounting systems such as Excel, QBO, etc.
• Bachelor's degree and must have an active CPA license
