Job summary

Kforce's client in Saginaw, MI is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead finance for a growing organization with an active acquisition strategy. This role focuses on strong leadership, partner with operations, and building scalable finance processes.

You will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, treasury, forecasting, AR/AP, and participate in ERP upgrades. Onsite at least two days a week, this position offers high visibility with executives and opportunities to shape strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Controller experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with cash flow management, treasury, and forecasting.
• Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, or system integrations.
• Willing to be onsite in Saginaw at least two days a week.

Requirements

• Previous Controller experience within manufacturing, distribution, or a multi-site operating environment
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with cash flow management, treasury, and forecasting
• Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, or system integrations
• M&A or acquisition integration experience is beneficial but not required
• Must be willing to be onsite in Saginaw at least two days a week

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
