CFS in Morrow, GA is seeking a Controller who will oversee the entire finance and accounting function onsite. You will manage accounting, budgeting, payroll, AP, and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate ACFR and regulatory filings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA designation required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams; public sector/government experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preparation of ACFR, annual audit, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities For The Controller

• Lead accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting operations.
• Oversee the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), annual audit, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, internal controls, and applicable governmental regulations.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic recommendations.
• Develop and mentor finance staff while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications For The Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA designation required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including ACFR and GASB expertise.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams; public sector, utility, or governmental experience preferred.
