Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Controller to lead the full finance and accounting function on-site in Morrow, GA. The role partners with the CFO and executive leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA, have 8+ years of accounting/finance experience (including ACFR and GASB), and have 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing finance teams in public sector or related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation required.
8+ years of progressive accounting/financial management experience, including ACFR and GASB experience.
3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams; public sector/government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting operations.
Oversee preparation of ACFR, annual audit, and regulatory reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, internal controls and governmental regulations.
Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic recommendations.
Develop and mentor finance staff while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
