Job summary

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GASB.
• Experience preparing or overseeing the ACFR.
• Governmental, public-sector, or similarly complex accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and internal controls.
• Lead annual audit activities and preparation of the ACFR.
• Ensure GAAP and GASB compliance and reporting.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and oversee the accounting and finance team.

Key Responsibilities

As The Controller, You Will

• Lead general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll functions
