Primary Talent Partners is assisting in filling a full-time Controller role for a well-established organization in Mooresville, NC. The position oversees all corporate accounting and financial reporting functions and requires an office-based schedule five days a week.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities include month-end close, tax reporting, budgeting, and coordination with HR and external auditors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 7+ years industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage.

Responsabilidades

• Bank and credit card statement reconciliations.
• Federal excise and sales tax reporting.
• Monitor bank and credit card activity and perform variance analysis.
• Cashflow planning and forecasting; monthly/annual close processes including consolidated reporting.
• Prepare, review and deliver monthly financial reports to the President.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on payroll and benefit reporting.
• Coordinate with other department leaders on reporting and processes to support business needs.
• Prepare the annual budget and property tax filings.
• Coordinate with outside firms on corporate tax reporting, annual audits and insurance coverage requirements.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures; review results with divisions.

Conocimientos

CPA designation preferred

7+ years of industry experience

Must be willing to work in the office 5 days a week.

Salary - $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Bank and credit card statement reconciliations
• Federal excise and sales tax reporting
• Monitor bank and credit card account activity
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Cashflow planning and forecasting
• Complete the monthly and annual close processes, including consolidated financial reporting.
• Prepare, review and deliver the monthly financial reports to the President.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on payroll and benefit reporting.
• Coordinate with other department leaders on reporting and processes to effectively support business needs.
• Preparation of the annual budget.
• Preparation of the annual property tax filings.
• Coordinating with outside firms on corporate tax reporting, annual audits and insurance coverage requirements.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Review financial and operational results with business divisions on monthly basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA designation preferred
• 7+ years industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Sage
