Primary Talent Partners is seeking a full-time Controller for a well-established organization in Mooresville, NC. The role oversees all corporate accounting and financial reporting activities and requires office-based work five days a week.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience. CPA designation is preferred and 7+ years of industry experience are expected. Benefits include 401k, medical, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sage accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Handle federal excise and sales tax reporting.
• Monitor bank and credit card account activity.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting.
• Plan and forecast cash flow.
• Execute monthly and annual close processes, including consolidated reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the President.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits reporting with HR.
• Collaborate with department leaders on reporting and processes.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and property tax filings.
• Coordinate with outside firms on tax reporting, audits, and insurance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Review results with business divisions on a monthly basis.

Primary Talent Partners is looking to help our client fill a full time Controller role with a well-established organization in Mooresville, NC. This role is responsible for all corporate related accounting and financial reporting activities.

Must be willing to work in the office 5 days a week.

Salary - $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Bank and credit card statement reconciliations
• Federal excise and sales tax reporting
• Monitor bank and credit card account activity
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Cashflow planning and forecasting
• Complete the monthly and annual close processes, including consolidated financial reporting.
• Prepare, review and deliver the monthly financial reports to the President.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on payroll and benefit reporting.
• Coordinate with other department leaders on reporting and processes to effectively support business needs.
• Preparation of the annual budget.
• Preparation of the annual property tax filings.
• Coordinating with outside firms on corporate tax reporting, annual audits and insurance coverage requirements.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Review financial and operational results with business divisions on monthly basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA designation preferred
• 7+ years industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Sage
