Job summary

RELYANT Global, LLC is seeking a Controller with extensive federal government contracting experience to partner with senior leadership and progress toward the CFO role under the company's succession plan.

The ideal candidate will manage project cost accounting, indirect cost structures, and multiple international subsidiaries within a single ERP system while ensuring timely, accurate monthly close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA required and GAAP/IFRS proficient.
• Minimum 5 years as Controller in federal government contracting.
• Experience with project cost accounting and indirect cost rate structures.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Coordinate with external tax CPAs for federal, state, and foreign filings.
• Collaborate with public accounting firms for annual audits.
• Lead accounting teams across multiple international locations.

Relyant Global is seeking a Controller with the following qualifications and experience:

• Above all, the ideal candidate is comfortable working in a flexible, dynamic, and highly demanding global organization.
• Strong desire to use success in this position to move into the CFO position under the Company's succession plan.
• At least five years of demonstrated success as a Controller for a company focused on federal government contracting.
• Extensive experience in project cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DOSAR, and CAS government procurement regulations.
• Experience managing an indirect cost rate structure and familiarity with the annual Incurred Cost Submission for the government.
• Licensed CPA with a thorough understanding of GAAP and familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience overseeing the accounting for multiple consolidated international subsidiaries within a single ERP system.
• Proven success leading accounting teams, including employees based in multiple locations outside the United States.
• Ability to produce timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Ability to collaborate with the public accounting firm to ensure timely and accurate annual audited financial statements.
• Ability to coordinate with external tax CPAs to ensure the timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and foreign tax returns and payment of taxes due.
