Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for three affiliated companies in Lombard, IL. You will partner with executive leadership, own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and drive profitability analysis including inventory and job costing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong background in GAAP, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and job costing.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across GL, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and monthly close.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, inventory reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Manage job profitability reporting and reconcile sales and operational data.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and ROI performance.
• Mentor, develop, and manage accounting staff while strengthening controls and processes.
