Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership team in the United States. This role reports directly to the CFO and VP of Finance and will oversee key accounting functions and a growing team.

You will manage the month-end close, inventory accounting, audits, tax filings, and financial statements, while partnering with operations and yard managers to drive performance and actionable insights. CPA preferred, manufacturing accounting experience required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Strong audit and tax preparation background.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and tax preparation processes, partnering with external firms.
• Oversee inventory accounting and support operational teams with financial insights.
• Manage the month-end close and prepare financial statements.
• Supervise Assistant Controller and accounting/admin staff.
• Collaborate with yard managers and leadership to analyze and communicate financial performance.
