Job summary

CFS in Edina, Minnesota is seeking a Corporate Controller for a hybrid role. This leadership position oversees all accounting operations, reporting to the CFO, and directly supports the private equity-backed manufacturing company.

You will drive process improvements, manage a multi-location team including international operations, and partner with senior leaders to scale finance systems and controls.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting leadership experience in Controller-level roles.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Experience leading multi-location and international accounting teams.
• Public accounting foundation; CPA desired; private equity experience; Epicor ERP familiarity.
• Proven track record of process improvement and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, audit coordination, and internal controls
• Drive continuous process improvement and accounting best practices
• Develop, mentor, and lead domestic and international accounting team members
• Partner closely with the CFO and operational leaders to support business objectivesl>
• Remain hands-on in the accounting function, assisting with technical accounting and journal entries as needed

• Public accounting foundation, CPA, private equity experience, and Epicor ERP experience are highly preferred
• Proven track record of process improvement, team development, and collaborative leadership
