  • Develop and implement financial policies.
  • Support the preparation of corporate and state tax returns.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with three direct reports: assistant controller, AP and AR analysts.

  • Serve as accounting lead during financial due diligence for add‑on acquisitions, supporting data requests, quality of earnings analysis, and assessment of accounting risks.
  • Develop and execute post‑close accounting integration plans in coordination with the CFO, operations, IT, and private‑equity sponsor.
  • Align acquired entities to company accounting policies, chart of accounts, close calendar, and internal control standards.
  • Assess and remediate gaps in accounting processes, controls, and financial reporting at acquired businesses.
  • Lead integration of acquired entities into the company’s ERP and reporting systems, including data mapping, opening balance sheets, and historical data conversion.
  • Ensure accurate purchase accounting, including opening balance sheet adjustments, inventory valuation, and working capital normalization.
  • Standardize cost accounting methodologies across legacy and acquired businesses to ensure consistent margin and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and advisors on acquisition‑related accounting matters and audit requirements.
  • Support leadership with integration status reporting, synergy tracking, and identification of accounting‑driven value‑creation opportunities.
