CFS in Fresno, CA is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead our accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls across the organization.

You will direct month-end close, budgeting, audits, and cash management, while mentoring a talented accounting team and partnering with the CFO on strategic initiatives that advance mission and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting.
• Experience overseeing audits, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily accounting and finance operations.
• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
• Manage audits, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, investments, and banking relationships.
• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
