Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge or similar nonprofit software.
• Background in nonprofit/education sector accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and oversee month-end close.
• Lead audit preparation, reconciliations, and financial compliance.
• Implement and maintain digital payment and paperless expense systems.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and support budgeting processes.
• Transition accounting functions in-house and drive efficiency.
• Oversee payroll and coordinate with HR on financial processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
