You will drive reporting, budgeting, cash flow, job costing, and profitability analysis while mentoring the accounting team and partnering with operations to improve profitability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Significant accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Experience in construction or project-based environment (HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion accounting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated success managing financial operations for a growing small-to-mid-sized organization.
• Experience developing processes and improving financial visibility across the business.
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash management expertise.

Full Time | $120,000 - $140,000 (plus bonus) | On Site

We're seeking a finance leader who brings experience, sound judgment, and the ability to drive results independently. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully led the accounting and finance function within a construction, specialty trades, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or other project-based organization and understands the unique financial dynamics that come with managing projects, labor, job costs, cash flow, and growth.

This position will serve as a strategic partner to leadership by proactively identifying operational inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing processes that enhance profitability, scalability, and decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion accounting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated success managing financial operations for a growing small-to-mid-sized organization.
• Experience developing processes and improving financial visibility across the business.
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash management expertise.
• Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
