Controller – Multi‑Site Operations (Hybrid)
$125K–$175K + Bonuses
Location: Hybrid, 50% onsite in Peekskill with travel to sites in Bronx, Long Island City

A growing group of operating companies backed by a private equity firm is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead finance operations across three locations: Peekskill, the Bronx, and Long Island City. This is a hybrid role with regular on‑site presence required, especially in Peekskill, where at least 50% of the time will be spent. This role is suited for a current Controller seeking the next step toward Sr. Controller, Partner, or CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations across three entities
• Lead audits, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
• Support upcoming M&A efforts and integration
• Manage ERP systems (Sage and QuickBooks)
• Improve internal controls and documentation
• Roll up sleeves to clean up, correct, and rebuild financial processes
• Partner closely with leadership across all locations

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10+ years of experience in accounting/finance
• Strong audit and GAAP knowledge
• M&A experience, including integration and reporting
• Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
• Must be comfortable operating at both strategic and transactional levels; this is a hands‑on role that requires direct involvement in the numbers, not just oversight
