Job summary

Stanley Consultants, an award‑winning global engineering firm, seeks a Control Systems Student Intern to join the Denver, CO office onsite. You will work with engineers on projects from power plants to municipal water systems, developing understanding of control/instrumentation tasks and creating P&IDs, I/O lists, and specifications.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in ABET‑accredited BSEE/BSME programs, are juniors or seniors, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET‑accredited BSEE or BSME program.
• Junior or Senior pursuing BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of control and instrumentation tasks for Stanley projects.
• Assist with creating and checking P&IDs, I/O lists, data sheets, wiring and termination drawings, instrument indices, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers on multiple projects including power plants, industrial automation, microgrids, and water systems.
