Job summary

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow corrections policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn and operate the control room equipment and NCIC/VCIN terminals.
• Must be able to work in a secure facility and maintain logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all facility activity via video cameras in the control room.
• Operate electronic controls for doors, elevators, and auxiliary equipment.
• Use NCIC/VCIN terminals for staff and law enforcement as needed.
• Prepare required reports and maintain logs.
• Assist the public by phone and in person with jail and court questions.
