Responsibilities

• Monitor facility activities via electronic video cameras.
• Operate control room doors, elevators, and auxiliary equipment.
• Operate NCIC/VCIN terminals for staff and law enforcement.
• Prepare required reports.
• Assist the public with jail and court questions by phone and in person.
• Monitor fire alarm panels for the jail and courthouse complex.
• Monitor panic alarms from courts and magistrate's office.
• Report emergencies and contact EMS and supervisors.
• Monitor and respond to the emergency elevator phone system for Juvenile Intake.
• Complete testing, training, and certification as required.
• Perform tasks under stress and minimal supervision.
