Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production to follow shop drawings and assemble control panels. You will drill, cut, grind, and install devices on enclosures according to standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, layout, and mounting components while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Prior experience with metalworking tools and strong reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in metalworking tools.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong analytical and observational skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Able to pass physical, drug, and background checks.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs+ and standing for four hours.
• Ability to read shop drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Cutouts using plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, and nameplates.
• Maintain quality within specifications.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Meet project hours and timelines.
• Support on-site tasks as needed.
