Job summary

Skywalk Global Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a batch scheduling specialist to manage and automate jobs using Control-M/EM. You will handle calendars, production workloads, and ensure timely abend resolution across mainframe and distributed applications.

The role requires 2–5 years of Control-M/EM experience, JCL/ISPF/TSO proficiency, and strong written and verbal communication skills. ServiceNow ticket handling is a plus, with a focus on SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with BMC Control-M/EM.
• Experience with JCL, SDSF and general mainframe knowledge.
• ServiceNow incidents and tasks experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage batch workloads and analyze abends.

Responsibilities

• Schedule predefined jobs within Control-M/EM.
• Manage calendars within Control-M/EM.
• Manage batch workload in Production Control for mainframe and distributed apps.
• Identify and fix abends; alert support staff when problems develop, escalate issues to management when SLA jeopardized.
• Document issues in writing via ServiceNow tickets (Incidents & Incident Tasks).
• Use ISPF, JCL, and Control-M/Enterprise Manager to troubleshoot and optimize batch jobs.
