Responsibilities include monitoring systems, dispatching on‑call staff, maintaining logs, and coordinating with technicians and customers. Requires a high school diploma, 1 year related experience and upcoming water operator licenses.

Qualifikationen

• High school or GED required.
• One year experience in groundwater, recycled, distribution or similar environment.
• Within 6 months, TCEQ Class D Water Operator License; within 12 months, Class C Groundwater Treatment Operator License.
• Ability to report on time and work designated schedules.

Aufgaben

• Monitor system pressures and pump performance to select appropriate pumping schemes.
• Identify emergencies and communicate with responders and supervisors to decide action.
• Receive potable water requests and assist in determining follow‑up steps.
• Identify equipment faults, initiate work orders for repairs.
• Notify technicians as repairs are needed and dispatch on‑duty personnel.
• Maintain records and logs coordinating pump activity with projects and changes.
• Inform other operators about ongoing problems and operational issues.
• Perform basic calculations and work overtime as needed.
