Job summary

ClearWater Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Water Operator to oversee operation, maintenance, and supervision of water distribution and treatment systems. You will manage chemical feeds, equipment, and laboratory testing while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant state certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• NC wastewater or water operator certification (Grade II+ or Grade B Surface Water) is required or preferred.
• Experience in a water treatment environment.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains water distribution system components including pumps, motors, valves, and equipment.
• Handles chemical feed systems, dosing, and inventory management.
• Maintains pump stations and performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs sample collection, lab testing, and data reporting.
• Ensures work complies with Federal and State safety regulations and procedures.
• Monitors control panels, gauges, and meters to ensure proper operation.
• Will need weekend, overtime, and on-call availability.
