Job summary

Flywheel is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our Commercial Contracting team in Baltimore. You will partner with the sales organization to close deals faster by managing the full contract lifecycle with speed, accuracy, and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Legal Operations or Commercial Contracts, with experience in MSAs/SOWs/NDAs and proficiency with Conga CLM and Salesforce. This role supports cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and risk control.

Qualifications

2+ years in Legal Operations or Commercial Contracts in corporate or agency settings.
Experience supporting sales teams in a high-volume environment.
Strong knowledge of contracting law and familiarity with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs.
Experience with contract management systems, preferably Conga CLM.
Proficient with Salesforce; MS Office/Google Workspace; e-signature platforms (DocuSign/Adobe Sign).

Responsibilities

Draft and review high-volume commercial agreements including SOWs and NDAs.
Ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance in contract language.
Maintain and update standard templates to reflect current legal standards.
Manage contract approvals by following a playbook and established processes.
Escalate issues when necessary based on predefined guidelines.
Ensure contracts comply with policies, risk parameters, and laws.
Identify and resolve potential risks within playbook rules.
Adjust workflows to shifting priorities while maintaining productivity.
Manage contract tracking and reporting within Salesforce and Conga CLM; build dashboards and reports for visibility.
Collaborate with Legal, Client Services, and Finance to ensure smooth contract operations.
