Job summary

Muller Inc in Virginia is seeking a Contract & Procurement Administrator to streamline contract management, work with leadership, legal counsel, and purchasing teams to reduce risk and implement innovative solutions, including AI and automation.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining templates for three operating businesses, coordinating with attorneys and internal buyers, expediting the contract lifecycle, and applying automation to review processes while protecting the company’s

Qualifications

Familiarity with construction contract language implications (Virginia, DC and Maryland).
Minimum 3+ years of experience managing the full lifecycle of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Highly organized
Strong administrative skills using Microsoft Word to negotiate contract language.

Responsibilities

Create, update and maintain client proposal and vendor contract templates for 3 operating businesses.
Work with attorney to understand legal implications of typical contract language and proposed revisions.
Coordinate closely with company leadership, purchasing team, vendor relationship team, third party attorney and internal buyers to improve contract processes.
Focus on expediting contract administration, negotiation and execution while maintaining critical controls to protect the company.
Balance contract language to be reasonable and business-friendly while protecting the organization’s interests (especially on sensitive clauses).
Implement automation and AI into review processes to increase efficiency.
