Job summary

Arizona Department of Transportation is seeking a Contracts Management Supervisor 2 in the Engineering Consultant Section. The role oversees consultant contract programs from initiation through closeout, guides staff, and ensures compliance with federal and state laws and ADOT policies.

Remote work is available within Arizona two days per week, with a stated emphasis on leadership and timely, high-quality contract deliverables.

Qualifications

BA degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field desirable.
Experienced in contracting and procurement.
Planning, organizing, and directing a high-volume, accelerated program.
Administrative/Management and/or staff supervision is desirable.
Knowledge of contract law, federal/state rules and ECS processes.

Responsibilities

Direct, train, coach, and monitor staff performing contract management activities.
Review and approve contract modifications and verify compliance with procedures.
Review solicitation packages and second-level cost proposal reviews.
Oversee complex consultant and alternative procurement contracts from initiation to closeout.
Establish performance objectives and ensure timely, accurate, quality work products.
