Job summary

RTX seeks a Manager, Contracts (Individual Contributor) in Goleta, CA to manage complex DoD contracts, partnering with PMO, Engineering, Finance and Legal. You will own contract actions across the lifecycle, develop responses to RFPs, negotiate terms, and address contractual changes while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, experience with FAR/DFARS, and a track record leading contract negotiations for government programs in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and extensive experience in government contracts.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and contract negotiations.
• Ability to lead contracts and manage complex relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required.
• Experience in contract administration and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal.
• Own contract management/administration actions across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Develop and respond to RFPs/BAAs, negotiate contracts, and manage nondisclosure agreements.
• Interface with customers for contractual changes and issues.
• Advise on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate with DCMA/DCAA on government contracts.
• Support both classified and unclassified contracts as required.
