Job summary

ASSYST, Inc. is seeking an Insurance & Risk Management Analyst to support insurance and risk management activities for a client.

The role focuses on reviewing commercial contracts and scopes of work, identifying exposure, and ensuring certificates of insurance comply with requirements. You will analyze contracts, recommend insurance terms, review endorsements, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage risk while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in insurance, brokerage, underwriting or contract work preferred.
• Experience developing, interpreting and negotiating commercial contracts and insurance terms.
• Familiarity with indemnity provisions and certificates of insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and customer-service skills.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts, scopes of work, leases and agreements to identify risk and insurance exposures.
• Recommend commercial insurance requirements and contractual terms based on identified exposures.
• Review Certificates of Insurance and endorsements for compliance with requirements.
• Review indemnity provisions and insurance requirements in contracts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors and others to discuss risk findings.
• Support insurance and risk management activities while delivering excellent customer service.
• Plan and prioritize workload effectively.
