The State of West Virginia is seeking a dedicated administrator to support the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Under supervision, you will monitor contracts, manage budgets related to services, and prepare required reports for executive leadership.

You will coordinate bid specifications, chair committees, and ensure compliance in purchasing and auditing activities. Occasional travel is required as part of duties.

Competenze

• Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative experience in organizing and coordinating administrative program initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience substitution: one year of experience for every thirty hours of training.

Mansioni

• Monitor and manage major agency contracts to ensure compliance.
• Monitor the agency budget in relation to contracts and services.
• Research and draft proper specifications for needed agency contracts for goods and services.
• Coordinate and chair committees to provide input into bid specifications.
• Review monthly services and commission reports; maintain balance spreadsheets of commissions.
• Provide monthly reports of Parole Supervision fees and Electronic Monitoring fees to leadership.
