Job summary

Suntiva, LLC, based in Falls Church, VA, is in search of a Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual matters. The ideal candidate will lead contracts management and work closely with the CFO to manage risks associated with contracts.

You should have over 4 years of federal government contracts administration experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations. The role offers not only hands-on involvement but also a unique opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be familiar with Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus contracts.
  • Strong ability to balance price and risk in contract execution.

Job Description
  • Lead Contract Management: You will have cradle to grave authority and responsibility in support of the organization related to all contractual matters, work with the CFO to manage risk and to coordinate responses to contractual requirements, and serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters
  • Manage Suntiva’s Subcontracts: You will create and modify master subcontract agreements, master consultant agreements, and work orders
  • Refine and Expand Contracting Best Practices: You will assist in refining and expanding Suntiva’s contracting best practices in compliance with company policy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Contracts Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (4) years’ experience in federal government contracts administration; with small business experience strongly preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR and related federal procurement regulations and clauses
  • Must have familiarity with Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus contracts, and the development of pricing structures and approaches to balance price and risk for each
  • Strong business acumen, with an ability to discuss and debate both sides of an issue concerning contract execution and risk management
  • Must be able to ‘Do’ as well as ‘Supervise’ as significant transactional volume exists. This is a hand‑on roll with significant growth potential
  • MBA or MS degree in Acquisitions/Contracts Management is preferred. Additional certifications (i.e. CPCM, CFCM) is preferred
