Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Workforce Operations Analyst (Workforce Technology Analyst) to support contractor lifecycle governance and day-to-day operations. You will coordinate onboarding/offboarding, maintain data accuracy across VMS and HRIS, and partner with procurement, HR, finance, and suppliers to ensure compliant, scalable processes.

Qualifications

2–4+ years in operations, HR operations, procurement support, or similar roles.
Experience in structured, process-driven environments.
Proficiency in Excel and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate contractor onboarding, extensions, transitions, and offboarding activities.
Manage stakeholder requirements verification, quote requests, and rate validation.
Ensure required documentation, approvals, and system access are completed accurately and on time.
Track contractor status and maintain accurate records across all systems.
Support daily operations, including intake requests, updates, and changes to contractor engagements.
Assist with approvals and route requests to appropriate stakeholders.
Serve as a point of contact for contractor-related inquiries from business units and suppliers.
Troubleshoot onboarding, access, and process-related issues, resolve operational issues, and escalate more complex risks or compliance concerns as needed.
Execute standardized processes and controls for contractor management across business units.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation for contractor activities.
Maintain and update contractor data in systems, including VMS, HRIS, or tracking tools.
Support reporting on contractor volumes, onboarding timelines, and operational metrics.
Identify data inconsistencies and work to improve data quality.
Support timely and accurate completion of onboarding and offboarding activities, data accuracy and completeness, adherence to defined processes and controls, reduction in operational errors and escalations, and responsive stakeholder support.
