Job summary

Empower is seeking an operations professional to oversee contractor onboarding, extensions, transitions, and offboarding across business units. You will verify requirements, track status, and ensure timely documentation and system access.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractor onboarding, extensions, transitions, and offboarding activities.
  • Manage stakeholder requirements verification, quote requests, and rate validation.
  • Ensure required documentation, approvals, and system access are completed accurately and on time.
  • Track contractor status and maintain accurate records across all systems.
  • Support daily operations, including intake requests, updates, and changes to contractor engagements.
  • Assist with approvals and route requests to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for contractor-related inquiries from business units and suppliers.
  • Troubleshoot onboarding, access, and process-related issues, resolve operational issues, and elevate more complex problems, risks, delays, or compliance concerns as needed.
  • Execute standardized processes and controls for contractor management across business units.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation for contractor activities.
  • Maintain and update contractor data in systems, including VMS, HRIS, or tracking tools.
  • Support reporting on contractor volumes, onboarding timelines, and operational metrics.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and work to improve data quality.
  • Support timely and accurate completion of onboarding and offboarding activities, data accuracy and completeness, adherence to defined processes and controls, reduction in operational errors and escalations, and responsive stakeholder support.

What you will do:

Base Salary Range

$72,200.00 - $101,975.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
