Management Performance Associates is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Port Charlotte, FL. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

The role requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and demonstrated ability to work with pediatric through geriatric patients. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Pediatric to geriatric patient experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per procedure.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store specimens properly.
• Ensure test requisitions match labels and maintain specimen integrity.
• Maintain OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
