Job summary

Insight Global seeks a U.S. Immigration Specialist (Contractor) to support employment-based immigration administration. This role liaises with employees, hiring managers, HR, and external counsel to ensure timely visa sponsorship and residency progress.

Ideal candidates will know U.S. immigration processes and manage cases from initiation to completion. The position focuses on case management and documentation, with legal strategy handled by external counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting U.S. employment-based immigration.
• Knowledge of common U.S. immigration categories and processes (H-1B, L-1, TN, F-1/OPT, PERM).
• Experience coordinating with external immigration counsel or legal providers.
• Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion.
• Strong project and case management skills with attention to deadlines.
• Proficiency with HRIS such as Workday and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary coordinator for employment-based immigration cases including nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency.
• Partner with external counsel to initiate, track, and manage cases.
• Monitor case progress and follow up with attorneys, employees, managers, and stakeholders.
• Collect and review documentation required for filings.
• Communicate milestones and timelines to employees and business partners.
• Monitor USCIS statuses and provide updates as needed.
• Maintain accurate immigration records and case tracker.
