Job summary

The role includes resolving routine issues, escalating complex problems, and supporting day-to-day IT operations under supervision. The position is contract-to-hire with potential conversion to full-time after the contract period, onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of help desk or IT support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for staff IT assistance by phone, email, or in person.
• Deliver high-touch support with focus on first-response resolution.
• Troubleshoot routine issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or MSPs.
• Process account setups, password resets, and access requests per policies.
