United Global Technologies, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a senior IT leader to serve as second-in-command of the IT Division, with the goal of converting to a full-time state position after the contract period.

The role coordinates IT operations, manages vendors, and supports cybersecurity and compliance in a regulated financial environment. The position will oversee infrastructure, applications, and helpdesk services, collaborating with the IT Operations Manager and leadership team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in CS / IT / Business Administration or related field.
• Extensive IT leadership experience with 6+ years managing complex IT functions.
• 3+ years of full-time supervisory IT experience.
• Experience managing MSP/outsourced IT services including SLA and performance management.
• Leadership in cybersecurity operations: incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and helpdesk services via internal staff and MSPs.
• Act as primary operations liaison to statewide shared-services providers.
• Participate in information security activities including incident response and audits.
• Support access control reviews, policy compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee SAP integrations with financial institutions and third-party systems.
• Monitor contracts, procurement, budget, and long-range technology planning.
• Supervise IT staff and develop the leadership team.
• Occasional after-hours work to address incidents and maintenance.
