Job summary

Arbor Energy is seeking a Contract Technical Recruiter to help build and scale our engineering team during a critical growth phase. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for complex hardware engineering roles, designing targeted sourcing strategies, engaging passive candidates, and guiding the process through offer acceptance.

This role is based in El Segundo, CA. You will work closely with hiring managers and the recruiting team to identify and attract engineers building high-performance systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Experience sourcing and recruiting for deep‑tech engineering talent from aerospace, energy, or related sectors.
• Strong research skills and creativity in building candidate pipelines.
• Strong understanding of competitive talent markets and ability to identify target companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop search strategies and engage passive technical candidates.
• Build and manage talent pipelines for difficult technical roles.
• Screen candidates and provide a positive candidate experience across stages.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiting team to ensure alignment and momentum across active searches.
