Job summary

Abbott is seeking a proactive Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support Sales hiring within our Diagnostics organization. The role focuses on building robust pipelines, engaging top sales professionals, and collaborating with TA partners and hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop targeted sourcing strategies, conduct screenings, and maintain ongoing relationships with passive candidates. Strong sales market knowledge and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Sourcer with a focus on Sales roles.
• Demonstrated success sourcing quota-carrying sales positions.
• Strong advanced sourcing techniques and understanding of sales talent markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for engaging sales professionals.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency with ATS, CRM tools, and sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to understand sales hiring needs and candidate profiles.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for Sales roles (field, inside, account management).
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networks, and outreach to identify and engage sales professionals.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings focused on sales experience, performance, and territory alignment.
• Build and maintain pipelines for Diagnostics sales roles and anticipated hiring needs.
• Proactively engage passive talent and maintain ongoing candidate relationships.
• Track, analyze, and report sourcing activity and pipeline metrics to TA team.
• Stay current on sales talent market trends and best practices.
