Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Special Education Teacher for a contract role working with elementary students in grades 3–6. You will deliver push-in services in a supportive school setting, collaborating with general education staff to implement inclusive instruction and targeted interventions.

This full-time, on-site position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–3:30 pm. You will develop and monitor IEP goals, collect progress data, and participate in conferences with families and multidisciplinary teams to

Qualifications

• IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring knowledge.
• Experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.
• Push-in service models and inclusive practices familiarity.
• Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field required.
• Valid Special Education licensure/certification for Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide push-in services for grades 3–6.
• Support differentiated instruction with classroom teachers.
• Develop and deliver tailored interventions for student success.
• Collect, track, and report progress toward IEP goals.
• Engage in parent and team conferences to adjust plans.
